Lead Pastor – Dave Samelson
We are so blessed to have Rev. Dr. Dave Samelson with us at Point Pleasant! After serving as the District Superintendent for the Great Northern District, Pastor Dave felt called into ministry at Point Pleasant while the Bishop’s cabinet was discussing appointment plans following Pastor Neal Harrell’s retirement. Pastor Dave is an excellent preacher and shepherd. He is a graduate of Pacific School of Religion and Asbury Theological Seminary and has been a member of the California-Nevada Annual Conference since 1988. He is married to Sonia; they are parents to four children.

In addition to leading the Point Pleasant Cambodian Language Ministry, Pastor Viseth serves at two other local United Methodist congregations. He is a dedicated servant leader and we are blessed to have him!
