Sierra Service Project is an integral part of our Youth’s Christian faith walk here at Point Pleasant UMC.  SSP gives youth an opportunity to put their faith in motion.  Youth spend an entire week repairing homes in some of the most impoverished areas in our country.  The opportunity to serve others, gain life skills, and have a real encounter with God draws kids year after year to this wonderful program.  Youth just completing their 8th grade through 12th grade are eligible to participate.  An advance commitment and fundraising is required.  Linda Harrell is in charge of this ministry.
