Christmas Opportunities at PPUMC

A Stable Christmas
December 23 – Soup Supper & Stable Service
5:30 – 6:30 p.m. Soup Supper (no charge) – Memorial Hall
6:30 – 7:30 p.m. A Stable Christmas  – Ace Benson’s Barn, 3239 Pt. Pleasant Rd.

We gather for a soup supper at 5:30.  After dinner, children who would like to be part of the stable service are provided with costumes for the reenactment of the nativity in the barn just a short walk from the church.  (A few cars can be driven there for those unable to walk, or if it’s raining.)  The barn is filled with hay, soft lights and a few animals, as the children act out the Christmas story as angels, shepherds, wisemen, and stable animals.  Come sing the carols, breathe the hay scented air, hear the animals, and experience the story of Christmas.
